Senior Companion Volunteer

Visit seniors regularly for conversation, companionship, and emotional check-ins. This is our most needed role.

  • Visit assigned seniors in homes or community settings
  • Listen, converse, and provide friendly presence
  • Notice changes in mood or isolation and report to staff
  • Help seniors feel connected to community life

Ideal for: caring adults, retirees, students, and anyone who believes presence matters

Program Support Volunteer

Assist with emotional wellness check-ins, social connection activities, and group programming for our pilot programs.

  • Help set up and facilitate group sessions or activities
  • Welcome seniors and create a warm, inclusive environment

  • Assist with light program logistics and follow-up

  • Assist with Idealist, volunteer, and partner outreach
  • Support photo/story collection (with consent) for impact content
  • Help maintain consistent brand messaging

Ideal for: students in communications, marketing, journalism, or nonprofit studies

Nonprofit Operations Intern
